PAYMENT & CANCELATION POLICIES

All confirmed reservations require a deposit of 1/2 rental rate. Payable two weeks from date of confirmation. If deposit is not received, reservation is automatically canceled. (Please notify us if there is a problem)

Should you need to cancel your reservation 60 days or more prior to your arrival date a $75.00 administration fee will be deducted from your deposit.
*
Your deposit is non-refundable if you cancel 59 days or less from your arrival date.
*
Guests checking out before contracted time expires will forfeit rental.
*
THESE UNITS ARE EQUIPPED FOR THE NUMBER OF GUESTS REGISTERED ONLY AND ANY UNREGISTERED GUESTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO LEAVE.

Remainder of deposit to be paid by certified check or cash before checking into cottage.
        

RULES & REGULATIONS
of Knottie Pine Cottages
 
Thank you for spending your vacation with us. We are proud of our cottages. We have respected your wishes by providing you with clean and tidy units in quiet surroundings. The following rules are to make your stay here safe and enjoyable, and we would greatly appreciate your cooperation.

1.
Check in time: 2-4 p.m. Saturday / Check out time before 10 a.m. Saturday. (Please call if you are delayed.)
2.
No Smoking inside units - Anti Smoking By Law - Bruce County.
3.
Quiet time is from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m. Excessive noise inside or outside of the units will not be tolerated. Repeat offenders will be asked to leave with no refund. Respect others privacy, PLEASE.
4.
Alcohol must be kept on your cottage site. (Provincial Law).
5.
Vehicles - one per cottage. Additional parking at rear of property.
6.
Drive SLOWLY in laneway. Children are playing.
7.
No tents or trailers on site. Campfires only at fire pit.
8.
NO PETS inside or outside of cottage.
9.
VISITORS - CHECK WITH MANAGEMENT ABOUT VISITORS.
10.
No playing radios outside, or placing in windows to hear outside.
11.
WATER - our water has been tested and approved by the Ontario Ministry of Health.
        

RULES OF THE UNIT
1.
No grease or food flushed down the sink.
2.
No sanitary napkins, kleenex or disposable diapers flushed down the toilet. We are on a septic system and the above will plug the system.
3.
Check to make sure all taps and toilets are not dripping or running. This causes the pump to work constantly.
4.
Dispose of garbage in the receptacles by the fence. Make sure the garbage is tied securely because of the seagulls.
5.
No lit candles in units.
6.
Please close all windows if you are leaving for the day.
7.
Keep the units neat and tidy, vacuum, and wipe up spills.
8.
Please use clothesline to hang towels, swimming wear, etc.
9.
Please conserve water - REMEMBER - you are now in the land of sun and fun. Please do not flush for #1.
10.
BEFORE LEAVING:
 a)  defrost refrigerator early in the a.m.
 b)  dishes washed, dried and placed in cupboard
 c)  all garbage disposed of
 d)  leave BBQ's clean
 e)  leave units clean, tidy and vacuumed
11.
Please respect our beaches - clean up after yourselves.
